The Fall Of The Dollar Empire!
Sitting back & watching the value of the dollar fall will cause you to
loose out on retaining whatever wealth you possess. The dollar will
fall more as the Federal Reserve Bank continues to reduce interest
rates & the U.S. Govt spends further into debt. Investing the dollar
wisely now will retain wealth, & land can help. Even in today's real
estate bust! Don't let the bursting housing bubble block investments
in land! A wise investor never forgets land, not special land!
As the dollar falls in value, more dollars are required to buy most any-
thing. That appears as inflation, higher prices. The seller wants more
dollars to make up the difference for loss of the dollars value. Foreign
currency exchange markets prove that! The price of oil & gas proves
that! The price of gold in general proves that! Any sound investment
in commodities proves that! The value of financial institution stocks
prove that - dollar denominated stocks are stumbling & falling hard
every day. Banks & mortgage companies are going broke. The dollars
failure, not market failure, is why. Cash is king if it can build or retain
wealth! Cash, currency, is only paper though. Like company stock
that does not increase in value, what backs most paper? Not land!
While the housing bubble burst continues, & housing deflation is now
occurring in many areas of the country, the value of land is steady, &
in general prices are rising, including north Florida. Housing is over-
built & overpriced in too many markets. Land is not like housing for
investment purposes. Vacant land is a storage of wealth. Construction
costs & depreciation of a house can make investments suffer. Not by
maintenance & repair costs, nor heavy taxes, will wealth drain from
land. No depreciation of a structure to consider. Short of Earthquakes
or volcanos, wealth held as a land investment is secure.
Land in north Florida never was valued or priced correctly. Always
priced undervalue is an understatement - north Florida was ignored
for years. Never priced according to housing demand or the market,
well below south Florida by over fifty(50%) percent. Plus the north
Florida economy changes years after the south Florida economy,
always did. The price of land in many areas now is increasing due
to the falling dollar. North Florida land prices are trying to catch up,
climbing, yet still far below south Florida prices. Check advertised
offerings & closing prices for the last three(3) years alone. Check
the present offerings in south Florida as compared to north. There
is a four-to-one(4:1) advantage to north Florida in many areas.
Further, as compared to the dollar, foreign currency is rising in value,
& in most every case can now buy more land than before. Try any
currency conversion yourself & compare the difference in what is
perceived as the price of land. Make a comparison using numbers
over the past three(3) years for an astounding shock. Warning! The
last seven(7) years might cause heart failure!
Then compare the currency price of gold to land to appreciate the
value land historically holds, a value that even increases despite the
dollar. Land ultimately outperforms gold in most all cases. More
gold can be mined from the Earth. Yet land is limited, no more land
can be mined from the Earth! - And "they ain't making it anymore."
While investing in some housing markets now is not wise, investing
in land markets now is safer & with higher return value than the stock
market in general. Pick any financial market & compare for yourself
the stability, volatility, safety, & return of value as opposed to land!
Wise investment in land now can secure a sound financial future &
possibly a large return, or even a great place to live!
